Mamihlapinatapai is a word from the Yaghan language of Tierra del Fuego, listed in The Guinness Book of World Records as the “most succinct word”, and is considered one of the hardest words to translate. It describes “a look shared by two people with each wishing that the other will initiate something that they both desire but which neither one wants to start.”
I’m back from a well needed vacation from Ibiza/Amsterdam and have lots of new tracks to share. These two songs were the songs I heard the the most in Bora Bora and Space Terraza during my stay. Both are very catchy and perfect summer anthems. Inspired by the almost-10-year-old Africanism movement in house music, Canoa is the ultimate cheerful beach tune of this summer. On the other hand, Soy Como Soy is much more aggressive and tense. However, the important thing is both songs achieve to get the crowds wild and keep the party rockin’.
