In the less than a year, Azari & III (pronounced Azari and the Third) have managed to charm every classic house lover with their nostalgic yet fresh sound. Released around mid-November by Scion A/V, Into the Night EP is audial candy. Prince Language revamps the original into an up-beat 90’s anthem while Jaar soothes the tune with his signature tone colors. The most unconventional remix is by Renaissance Man, a 10 minute extended dub stuffed with quirky sounds and reverberations. It’s rather hard to not fall in love with Hungry for the Power’s almost-date-rape sleaziness or Indigo’s lustful vocals dancing on top of the big fat bassline.

 

Bonus of the day is by Maxxi Soundsystem, a duo from Brighton, England that’s been involved with electronic music for the last 10 years but started producing very recently.
