“The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.”

— Edward R. Murrow

German electronic producer Hendrik Weber / Pantha du Prince is known for his melodic arrangements of organized noise. His music is abstract, primitive and devoid from all preconceptions. He is the Jackson Pollock of the techno world exploring psycho-acoustics with abstract expressionist textures and patterns. His latest LP Black Noise is, without a doubt, one of the most original albums of 2010. Technically “black noise” is any sound that has a frequency below human hearing limit; Therefore for us, Black Noise is silence or something we can’t perceive it even though its staring us right in the face.  You can grab The Splendour, which is also from the LP Black Noise, from here.
