There’s a light out on the horizon
I’ve been obsessively listening to Kill for Love in which lethargic vocals ache with implicit longing, textures fade in and out coloring a film noir-esque landscape and gritty drumming taints your heart. On the bonus side, we have James Blake with two new tracks performed live. His new album will be out in a couple of days, so here is a sneak peek of what to expect.

A love you can not live without
How can John Talabot be so good? His sound sculptures feel: unrushed, happy to be in the moment, content with the status quo, one and all with its surroundings and in touch with zen. Away from the troubles of the real urban jungle, Mr.Talabot seems to be on a Balearic island watching the sunset with a semi-conscious yearning towards the present. A sun is set. A bridge is broken. Yet what’s hinted at is more than what is shown. Don’t forget, only the fool looks at a finger that points at the sky.

What happens to the hole when the cheese is gone?
After 2 months of silence, Resistance is back.
When everything is the same, yet something meaningful has been lost. Where has it disappeared to? Was the abstraction of meaning just an illusion?
