About
Résistance à la Mode is about quality music. All the songs posted here are for promotional purposes. Please support the artists by buying their music. If you are an artist featured in this blog and you wish to remove your songs from this site, please contact me and I will remove them as soon as possible. This site contains subliminal messages. All you have to do is look around. You may also want to visit our corporate page if you like reading meaningless gibberish. Résistance à la Mode is based in Miami, US.
Why are you called Résistance à la Mode?
English translation of Résistance à la Mode is roughly “Resistance according to the prevailing fashion”. The reason we chose Resistance is twofold:
First of all the Resistance is an electrical term which suits us very well because we exist on an electrical medium(as a website) and we are about electronic music which is created by manipulating electricity.
Secondly Resistance fits us perfectly because we oppose commercial interests that poison the music industry and paralyze true artists and avant-garde music to thrive.
We added à la Mode because “nothing becomes old as quickly as a new sound”. Music like everything else is ever-evolving. As trends and sounds catch on, they get used more and more until they simply become boring and unappealing. So as a music blog, we too have to evolve and change continuously. This is also why Résistance à la Mode is covers not only one sub-genre but the whole electronic music spectrum.
Why are you doing this website?
To share the love.
Are you a promoter? Do you earn money from this?
No and no. We do not earn any money from this website and plan to not do so. As you can see there are no ads on this blog. We choose the artists we want to promote and gain nothing by doing so.
No trackbacks yet.

Hi guys,
I’m a regular visitor and I love the blog! Keep up the good work!
I’m a DJ and promoter in Detroit and I’ve just put together a best of 2011 in dance/nudisco just in time for New Year’s Eve. I thought I’d send it to you, if you are interested in posting it on your blog.
I used to go by the name Damian and run the well-known Prague club night Heartbeats (2005-2007). I DJ’d clubs around Central Europe but recently I moved to Detroit where I now DJ under the name, Close Talker.
Unfortunately, Soundcloud was giving me errors, so I’ve posted the mix on MixCloud or you can find it for download on Mediafire.

Hello
I just discovered your website, and really like it. So I’ve heard some ‘the swiss”, some nordik group I can’t remember the name of, and others (a lot).
I’d like to introduce to you my own sound. A mix of a lot of music I’ve heard and liked since I listen electronical music.
Have a pause on “Mariage” wich is the latest I composed.
Thanks for listening, and keep doing your research of the atemporal sound !

Hi 😉
My name is Krista Lee, Singer of Dead End Amelia. I really enjoy the music you guys blog about. Singer-songwriting music is the core of inspiration for our band. We really enjoy artists like Brandy Carlile, Jeff Buckley, Sara Barallies and others. We also are inspired by 90’s rock bands such as The Deftones and A Perfect Circle. Also, modern day rock bands such as Paramore, Flyleaf, Muse. Etc. We are always looking to finding good music. Your blog is a pretty amazing source to do so. Even though we are a “rock” based band we hold a place in our hearts for pop. Hope you enjoy the music. If you guys are interested in bloging about us, it would be much appreciated to share our love for music with your community.

just found your Website via hypem while searching for “serious” electronic music. I like your approach very much. E-beats are part of my life balance as my profession is to be a legal counsel of on of the global Players from Switzerland.
I would appriciate to receive newsletters from you. I also would like to share with you guys some trouvailles, which I think are worth to listen to and maybe mentioned in your blogg. To start with I like to focus on HVOB with the first CD Her voice over Boys. Check no 11 The last song ever written. Just to set things clear, I do not have any commercial interests at all. It is just about e-beats. Cheers Ursy
